How Hot Should your tools be??

Using a curling iron that is too hot can have damaging effects on your hair. Exposing your hair to excessively high temperatures can lead to dry, brittle strands, breakage, and split ends. The intense heat can strip away the natural moisture and oils from your hair, leaving it prone to frizz and lackluster appearance.

Additionally, overheating your hair can cause the outer cuticle layer to become rough and porous, further exacerbating issues like tangling and loss of shine. It's crucial to use a curling iron with adjustable heat settings and apply a quality heat protectant to shield your hair from excessive damage and maintain its health and vitality.

What temperature is best for your hair?

280° fine thin hair
320° medium
360° extensions
390° thick coarse hair
430° NEVER- this high may cause discoloration, blow out the cuticle, wont hold a curl, or BURN YOUR HAIR OFF! It’s just too damn hot 🥵

remember you can cook a frozen pizza at 425° 🍕
