Hey there!  I’m Amber, the owner and stylist at Shear Beauty MKE.  I began my career in the beauty industry back in 2010 when I graduated from VICI Aveda.  For 10 years, I worked with multiple salons in the Milwaukee area before starting my own business in summer of 2020, that’s correct, right in the middle of a global pandemic!  Behind the chair, I specialize in dimensional color for both blondes & brunettes, as well as grey coverage color.    

I wanted to start Shear Beauty because I wanted to have a place where my guests didn’t feel like a dollar sign or rushed in & out to get to the next guest.  Every one of my guests is important and gets the time & attention that they deserve!  

In real life, I am down to Earth and love to laugh but also kind of a Type-A control freak! I really try to make the best of life and have fun!   I live in Jackson with my husband, Ricky, our 2 kids, and our dog, Kyle.  When I am not at work or spending time with my family, you can catch me grabbing brunch with a girlfriend, working out, or binge-watching Law & Order with a glass of wine!
